POLICE in Argao, Cebu arrested a 32-year-old man who was accused of sexually molesting a child around 4 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 17, 2022, in Sitio Malayahay, Barangay Alambijud.
The suspect, Rey (real name withheld) was earlier placed under police custody but was released hours after he was arrested as no complaint was filed against him.
Rey was accused of groping two children aged four and 11.
Police Major Rodgene Fudotan said the suspect allegedly touched the sexual organs of the four-year-old girl first, then grabbed the left hand of the 11-year-old boy to let the child hold his genitals.
The family of the minors reported the incident to the police station, but the suspect was released hours after. (GPL / TPT)
