THE UniTeam ticket led by its presidential candidate former senator Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. will be arriving in Bacolod City on Wednesday, February 23, 2022, for a grand rally and caravan.

This was confirmed over the weekend by Negros Occidental Vice Governor Jeffrey Ferrer, who has been openly supporting the presidential bid of Marcos also known as BBM.

Ferrer said BBM's vice presidential bet and Davao Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio is also arriving along with their senatorial candidates.

The grand rally, Ferrer said, is expected to be graced by about 70,000 to 80,000 supporters of the BBM-Sara tandem.

The vice governor said the supporters of the two, who will wear red and green, will join a caravan before attending the grand rally at the open space at the city's Reclamation Area.

Ferrer also said that as of this time, 85 percent of the incumbent mayors and other officials in the province are supporting the UniTeam, the same as the majority of the congressmen.

"I have not talked to Bacolod Lone District Congressman Greg Gasataya yet but I assume that he will also support BBM because he and mayoralty bet Alfredo "Albee" Benitez belong to one political group," Ferrer said.

UniTeam's senatorial lineup includes former Public Works secretary Mark Villar, former Palace spokesperson Harry Roque, former Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista, former Defense secretary Gilberto Teodoro, former House Deputy Speaker Rodante Marcoleta and lawyer Larry Gadon.

Also included in the BBM-Sara ticket are incumbent senators Juan Miguel Zubiri and Sherwin Gatchalian and former senators Loren Legarda, Gregorio Honasan and Jinggoy Estrada.
