AN 18-year-old man was shot dead by his fellow Badjao in Sitio Puntod, Barangay Mambaling, Cebu City past 9 p.m. on Sunday, February 20, 2022.
Staff Sergeant Reynaldo Baldo of Mambaling Police Station 11, identified the victim as Small Buddy Madarin of Sitio Puntod.
The victim was sleeping inside his house when the suspect identified only as Bedang barged in and shot Madarin in the head.
It was learned that Bedang and Madarin were previously detained at the Mambaling Police Station 11 for possession of illegal drugs.
The police are now looking into the drug angle as the possible motive in the killing. The relatives also remained silent on the incident as they were still shocked by the loss of the victim. (BBT, TPT)
