Cebu grad places 6th in Psychometrician exam

TWO graduates from the University of San Carlos (USC) have topped the February 2022 Psychologist Licensure Exam, while a third USC graduate topped the Psychometrician Licensure Exam held on the same month.

For the February 2022 Psychologist Licensure Exam, Eva Marie Panong Gacasan and Marc Clint Alesna Maceda of USC shared first place with their rating of 84.45 percent.

The Professional Regulation Commission said 226 of 303 examinees passed the exam.

Debbie Marie Dalangin Bais (University of Santo Tomas) and Daisylet Rodriguez Patdo (Polytechnic University of the Philippines-Main-Sta. Mesa) placed second with a rating of 84.40 percent.

Gilana Kim Tan Roxas (Ateneo de Manila University-Quezon City) placed third with a rating of 84.20 percent.

Graduates from Ateneo de Manila University-Quezon City, University of Santo Tomas, Foreign University, Xavier University, Polytechnic University of the Philippines-Main-Sta. Mesa, UP-Diliman and De La Salle University-Manila took the remaining spots in the top 10.

The results were released on Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2022, the same day the results for the February 2022 Psychometrician Licensure Examination were released.

Erika Gabrielle Matildo Gepilano of the University of San Carlos placed sixth in the Psychometrician exam with a rating of 82.40 percent, sharing the spot with five other examinees.

Only 969 of the 2,241 examinees passed the exam.

In first place with a rating of 83.60 percent were Joshua James Bastro dela Cruz (Our Lady of Fatima University-Antipolo City) and Iris Anne Blanco Hamada (St. Louis University).

Placing second were Hannah Melissa Reyes Ramos and Miguel Antonio Perez Salvana (both of Ateneo de Manila University-Quezon City), Arielle Kate Romero Estabillo (University of Mindanao-Davao City) and Kevan Laurenz Quenita Muzares (Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation-Lucena City).

In third place were Deiya Virj Valerio del Villar (Ateneo de Manila University-Quezon City), Rachel Lomugdang Jungco (St. Joseph’s College of Quezon City), Alfred Montarial (Bulacan State University-Malolos) and Ayesha Abducarim Musa (Ateneo de Zamboanga University).

The rest of the top 10 spots were occupied by 26 people from 17 schools.
