MAJORITY of the 45 health facilities in Pampanga have been experiencing a decrease in the number of bed occupancies as of Friday, February 25, 2022.
The rate of occupancy in Central Luzon was at 8.2 percent, the lowest yet since the omicron variant surge. This meant that 1,192 of the total 1,289 hospital beds in Pampanga were available.
Some 43 health facilities in Pampanga were at the safe level with the ongoing decrease in cases.
Total number of active coronavirus cases in Pampanga was down to 988 cases, with only 31 new cases recorded Friday, February 25.
The Department of Health’s (DOH) official coronavirus tracker placed the total number of confirmed cases in Pampanga since the start of the pandemic to some 87, 881 cases with 85,048 recoveries.
Coronavirus-related deaths in Pampanga have reached some 1,840 cases, according to the DOH.
Pampanga has reported some 275 coronavirus cases in the last 14 days, while Angeles City reported some 49 cases for the same period.
Some 15 people have died of the virus in the last 14 days.
