FAIR Trade Outsourcing Chief Executive Officer and founder Michael Scott Pershowitz and Vice President for Culture Jacob Zvi Weissbach met with Mayor Evelio Leonardia during their visit at the Bacolod City Government Center Monday, February 28, 2022.

Fair Trade Outsourcing, a "people-first" information technology-business process outsourcing (IT-BPO) company, started its venture in Bacolod City in May 2020 at the height of the coronavirus disease (Covid-19) pandemic.

It specializes in customer support, back office support, IT help desk and desktop support, software development and QA Testing and Data Entry and Acquisition.

“We are very happy and grateful for the Bacolod City Government for the support and openness they have shown us,” Pershowitz said.

Leonardia, for his part, responded that Bacolod values the contributions of BPO companies, as they bring new job opportunities to residents and bolster the city's economy.

Joining the meeting were Paul Gonzaga of Fair Trade Outsourcing, Emergency Operations Center Executive Director Em Ang, and City Health Officer-in-charge Dr. Edwin Miraflor. (PR)
