THE total number of active coronavirus disease (Covid-19) cases in Pampanga is now down to 947, as 21 new cases were recorded Monday, February 28.
The Department of Health’s (DOH) official coronavirus tracker showed that Pampanga now has 87,932 Covid-19 cases, of which 85,014 were recoveries. Coronavirus-related deaths in Pampanga have reached 1,845.
Pampanga reported 225 Covid-19 cases in the last 14 days, while Angeles City logged 43.
Fourteen people have died from the disease in the last 14 days.
Majority of the 45 health facilities in the province are now experiencing a decrease in the number of bed occupancies.
The rate of occupancy in the region is currently at 8.4 percent, the lowest yet since the Omicron variant surge. This means that 1,184 of the total 1,292 hospital beds in Pampanga are currently available.
Forty-three health facilities in Pampanga are currently in the safe level with the ongoing decrease of cases.
