KAPAMPANGAN chef Leonard Vincent Garcia has opened a new restaurant that will surely satisfy all our Korean food cravings.

Inspired by his wife Sheena Marie and his love for Korean food, Garcia opened Chef Baboy, which offers unlimited premium samgyeopsal or Korean barbecue.

Garcia, who has been known to serve grande cuisine to top executives and respected personalities in the country, calls the new restaurant “a culinary marvel of his own.”

“Chef Baboy Unlimited Premium Korean BBQ is a dream-come-true addition to his burgeoning culinary empire Chef Vince Garcia Culinary Group. Out from the fine dining setup yet you’re treated like royalty – the CVG way!” Garcia said.

Chef Baboy offers unlimited samgyeopsal for P549, which includes a wide selection of meat, including plain pork, marinated pork loin, spicy pork; plain beef, beef bulgogi, spicy beef; and country style chicken, chicken teriyaki and spicy chicken.

“Cut the guilt because Chef Baboy assures serving only premium meat cuts to our diners,” the young chef said.

The meats are served in style — on a three-tier food stand similar to how sweets are served in an “English Afternoon Tea.”

The unlimited menu also includes sides, rice, soup, iced tea and one serving of steamed egg per table. Side dishes include kimchi, japchae, fish cake, potato marble, seaweed salad, cabbage salad, candied sweet potato, stir-fry anchovies, pickled radish, spicy cucumber, kimchi salt fries, honey butter fries, macaroni salad, and bean sprouts.

The unlimited samgyeopsal is served alongside Chef Baboy’s Signature Cheese which Garcia put together himself.

Aside from its unlimited menu, Chef Baboy also offers dishes a la carte, including dakgangjeong, bibimbap, kimbap, tteok-bokki, and ramyeon, among others.

Chef Baboy is located at the Greenfields Square in Barangay Sindalan, City of San Fernando. The restaurant is open from Monday to Sunday, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. For updates, follow @ChefBaboyUnlimitedPremiumKoreanBBQ on Facebook.

Aside from Chef Baboy, Garcia also runs Rainforest Kichene by Chef Vince Garcia, En Croute Cafe, VG Bakery Cake and Pastries, Mapun Queni Bale Events Place, Chef Vince Garcia Culinary Group Catering Services, ZE Food Trading Corporation, Bravo Steel Professional Kitchen and Equipment Solutions, CVG Consultancy, Synergy Digital Marketing and CVG Culinary School.
