FOURTEEN new coronavirus disease (Covid-19) cases were recorded in Pampanga on March 6, based on the latest data from the coronavirus tracker of the Department of Health.

This brought the total number of active cases in Pampanga to 913.

At least 12 of the new active cases are from Angeles City, while two cases are from different cities and towns of the province.

The total confirmed cases in the province now stand at 88,027 since the start of the pandemic. Some 85,280 of these confirmed cases have long since recovered. Deaths from the virus since the start of the pandemic now stand at 1,847 cases.

Pampanga’s bed occupancy rate among its 45 health facilities is now at 7.6 percent. The dwindling number of Covid-19 cases has resulted in fewer bed occupancy in 43 health facilities of the province. Some 1,198 beds are currently available.
