POLICEMEN have arrested the number four most wanted persons in one of the towns in Zamboanga del Sur, an official announced Thursday, March 10, 2022.
Police Colonel Diomarie Albarico, Zamboanga del Sur police director, identified the arrested wanted person as Gallardo Saberon Leparto.
Albarico said Leparto was arrested in a law enforcement operation by way of warrant of arrest around 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 9, in Purok 6, Tungawan village, Sominot Zamboanga del Sur.
He said Leparto has a standing warrant of arrest for the crime of murder with no recommended bail dated January 2, 2020 issued by the court of Aurora, Zamboanga del Sur.
Albarico said Leparto was placed under the custody of Sominot Municipal Police Station for proper disposition. (SunStar Zamboanga)
