OPERATIVES of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) have arrested a high-value target (HVT) suspect in an anti-drug operation in Zamboanga Sibugay, a top PDEA official announced Saturday, March 12, 2022.
PDEA Regional Director Emerson Margate identified that arrested suspect as Ariel Andan, 29, the top two drug suspect in list of PDEA-Zamboanga Sibugay Provincial Office.
Margate said Andan was arrested in a buy-bust operation around 9:30 p.m. Friday, March 11, in Purok Santan, Poblacion village, Ipil, that capital town of Zamboanga Sibugay.
He said seized from Andan were five grams of suspected shabu packed in two heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets worth P34,000, one motorcycle, and the buy-bust money.
He said the suspect will be charged for violation of Sections 5 and 11, Article II of Republic Act 9165 otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (SunStar Zamboanga)
