LAWMEN have arrested one of the most wanted persons in the municipality of Siayan, Zamboanga del Sur, the police reported Monday, March 14, 2022.
Police Colonel Diomarie Albarico, Zamboanga del Sur police director, identified the arrested suspect as Bennie Sumukla Arapon, alias Loring, 51, the number eight most wanted person in Siayan town.
Albarico said that Arapon was arrested in a law enforcement operation by way of service of warrant of arrest around 12:30 p.m. Sunday, March 13, in Purok 4, Bibilop, Midsalip, Zamboanga del Sur.
He said Arapon has standing warrant of arrest for the crime of murder with no recommended bail dated April 13, 2009 issued by the court of Sindangan, Zamboanga del Norte.
He said the arrested wanted person was placed under the temporary custody of the Midsalip Municipal Police Station prior to his turnover to court authorities for proper disposition. (SunStar Zamboanga)
