Cebu City, NCR, 47 other areas under Alert Level 1 until end of March

THE National Capital Region (NCR) and 48 other areas, including Cebu City, will be under Alert Level 1 until the end of March, acting presidential spokesperson Martin Andanar announced Tuesday, March 15, 2022.

Alert Level 1 is the lowest level so far in the country’s Alert Level System, which has been implemented amid the coronavirus disease (Covid-19) pandemic.

Below is the complete list of areas under Alert Level 1 from March 16 to March 31:

Other areas in the country will be under Alert Level 2.

Under Alert Level 1, all restrictions, including venue in all businesses or transportation capacity and travel, are lifted. The public, however, is still required to wear face masks and observe physical distancing to prevent the spread of coronavirus and further bring the Covid-19 cases down.

As of March 14, 2022, the Department of Health reported a total of 3,671,293 Covid-19 cases in the country, of which 46,256 are active. The death toll stood at 57,625, while a total of 3,567,412 patients have recovered from the disease. (With LMY/SunStar Philippines)
