OPERATIVES of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) backed by policemen arrested two people and seized some P102,000 worth of illegal drugs as they dismantled a drug den in Zamboanga Citiy, the PDEA said.

PDEA Regional Director Emerson Margate identified the arrested suspects as Sheron Francisco Gallardo also known as Jomar Malante, and Raymond Jimenez.

Margate said the two suspects were arrested in a search warrant operation around 6:28 p.m. Monday, March 14, on Sampaloc Drive, Purok 6 in Tugbungan village, Zamboanga City.

He said the search warrant operation also led to the dismantling of a drug den.

Seized from the dismantled drug den were some 15 grams of suspected shabu packed in 84 heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets with P102,000, cigarettes packs and several illegal drug paraphernalia.

Margate said the suspects will be charged for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (SunStar Zamboanga)
