HOME. Relish, which had humble beginnings as a home cooking hobby, now delivers a variety of comfort meals.

Last week we introduced you, dear readers, to the Il Corso Lifemalls at the SRP Seafront composed of two vast developments: The North and South parking areas where the Food Yard is.

Here are some of the food stalls and kiosks we visited:

In the mood for a mango shake? Walk over to Ally Mango, an all-mango stop serving mango lovers a treat. Savor Mango Sago, Mango Pandan, and the all-new, popular Mango Graham.

Great times and great food go together, as you will see at Frappy N’ Tea, and taste the terrific combination of juicy Chicken Wings and French Fries! No kidding!

Now here’s something novel: First and No. 1 Tapa-on the-Go in the country! It’s Tapawarma, derived from the native “tapa” meaning dried marinated meat, top choice in Pinoy meat slices and “shawarma,” sliced and spicy pieces, a unique match between Pinoy and Middle Eastern cuisine!

At Relish, proud owners boast of its humble beginnings as a home cooking hobby, preparing packed meals for corporate clients and pandemic frontliners, even an outreach feeding program! Its ultimate goal? To make people feel the comforts of home cooking!

Siargao is known as the “Surfing capital of the Philippines,” and Aventino’s Pizza is the most popular dining spot in Siargao known for its no-frills but delicious meals. They cater mostly to tourists, surfers and millennials who opt for quick service and value for money.

No surfing or vacation is complete without dropping by Aventino’s for its best-sellers: Tricia-3 layered pizza; Chaveli-double-faced pizza and more, all done with fresh ingredients.

Ever try munching on sumptuous chicken wings and dancing with a dinosaur? Only at Chicken Park by Daddy B, where only the best wing recipes are featured: Herb Chicken, Cheesy Garlic wings, Dino-mite Buffalo Wings, Blizzard-coated Cheesy Wings, Seoul’s finest Wings etc.

Another provincial specialty is Bacolod’s irresistible Chicken Inasal, now in Cebu brought to us by Nanay Aida’s. We can attest to its authenticity as we have been to Bacolod, and “to taste is to believe.”

And welcome to Cebu’s very own Sutukil by the Sea, an extension of Creative Cuisine’s Group of food stops, such as Big Mao and Chikaan. At Il Corso, Sutukil by the Sea specializes in seafood and other choice dishes.

Other attractions, besides the various menus, are the Icanali Water, where you can stroll and pretend to be along a Venetian waterway. Oh, so romantic! Stick to this feel as you ascend the Il Corso Lighthouse, through elevator or stairs, where a panoramic view is yours to behold! Then descend to the ground floor, where a cafe will quench your thirst.
