Wolrd-class nga pag-host

NAKOMPLETO na sa Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP) ang pipila ka mahinungdanong mga lakang aron maseguro ang world-class ug malampusong pag-host sa Pilipinas sa 2023 FIBA World Cup.

Gibutyag sa SBP nga nahuman na ang Strategic Planning Session sa Local Organizing Committee (LOC) sa miaging weekend sa Mount Malarayat Golf and Country Club sa Lipa City, Batangas.

Ningtambong sa maong kalihukan ang SBP executives nga sila si chairman emeritus Manny V. Pangilinan, president Al Panlilio, executive director Sonny Barrios, executive advisor to the President Ricky Vargas, ug special assistant to the president coach Ryan Gregorio.

Ang planning session usa ka mahinungdanong piyesa aron maseguro nga molampos ang Pilipinas sa tahas niini isip co-host sa matag upat ka mga tuig nga kompetisyon kauban ang Japan ug Indonesia.

“Having this session helped us in creating concrete plans and contingencies for our hosting of the World Cup,” pamahayag ni Panlilio sa press release.

“It also showed how committed we are in not only giving a good show to the world but also be gracious hosts to our visitors.”

Ang prestihiyusong kompetisyon ipahigayon karong Agusto 10 hangtod Septiyembre 25 sa sunod tuig.
