OVER P300,000 worth of suspected shabu was seized in a buy-bust operation conducted by operatives of the City Drugs Enforcement Unit (CDEU) in Barangay 4, Bacolod City on Wednesday evening, March 16, 2022.
The operation also led to the arrest of Jay Lucasan, 46, of Purok Oraro in the barangay.
Police records showed Lucasan was arrested after he sold a sachet of shabu to a poseur buyer.
Eleven sachets of the banned substance weighing 47 grams, the P1,000 marked money and a coin purse with an undetermined amount were recovered from the suspect upon his arrest.
Lucasan was detained at the custodial facility of Police Station 2.
He will be charged for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
