Ex-convict yields P4 million 'shabu'

A former inmate of Cebu City Jail yielded P4 million worth of suspected shabu in a buy-bust operation conducted by the police past midnight on Saturday, March 26, 2022 in Pleasant Homes, Barangay Punta Princesa, Cebu City.

The suspect identified as Jaime Entice Villahermosa, 53, of Sitio Laguna, Barangay Basak Pardo, Cebu City, who is said to be a high value targeted drug personality, was arrested as he was about to hand over the illegal drugs worth P15,000 to a police poseur buyer.

Police confiscated from the suspect more than 600 grams of suspected shabu worth P4,080,000 based on street value and P15,000 marked money.

Major Janelito Marquez, chief of Labangon Police Station, said Villahermosa was formerly detained in Cebu City Jail in 2020.

The suspect admitted to the police that he got his drug supply from inside the Mandaue City Jail. (GPL, TPT)
