FOUR gentlemen from different barangays in the City of San Fernando want to provide better services to Fernandinos as they seek seats at the City Council in the coming May polls.

Coming from different fields, retired police officer Narvin Mangune, Engr. Alex Marucut, Barangay Alasas Chairman Alex Mendoza and former councilor Paul Quiwa have come together in a bid to create and sustain advantageous programs through legislation to Fernandinos.

Mr. Peace and Order

Mangune, who has served numerous communities as law enforcer for 33 years, said he wants to ensure the city’s peace and order through institutionalized programs.

“As a retired police officer, gusto natin matulog ng kampante ang bawat pamilyang Fernandino. Walang tulugan ang serbisyo Attutukan natin ang mga programa at gagawa ng mga ordinansa at resolusyon na magsisiguro sa peace and order sa ating siyudad,” he said.

Mangune added that maintenance of peace and order in the city will help further improve the trust of investors which,in turn, will bring additional tax income and livelihood opportunity in the city.

Social serviceman

Marucut also wants to help in the Covid-19 recovery plan of the city by crafting related resolutions and ordinances.

A civil engineer by profession, Marucut also eyes various infrastructure programs that will help further spur development in the capital city.

Quality education for all

Mendoza, for his part, is seeking to extend the programs he initiated in Barangay Alasas to the city hall.

As a three-termer village chairman, Mendoza provided free school supplies to all students in his barangay to unburden the parents financially, and encourage more students to go to school.

Mendoza also said he is eyeing to bring services of city hall to barangay so it will be closer to every Fernandinos.

Council comeback

Quiwa, meanwhile, vows to provide more livelihood and business opportunities to Fernandinos to boost the development of the city and its people.

Quiwa added that he also wants to improve the services for senior citizens as they have been part of his advocacy since his earlier days in the City Council.

He also assured Fernandinos of responsible and quality legislative works that will be beneficial and inclusive to everybody.

Dubbed as Fantastic 4, the aspiring councilors under the slate of PDP-Laban bet mayoralty candidate Vilma Caluag.
