Lapu-Lapu, Mandaue cities deescalated to Alert Level 1

THE Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) has downgraded the alert status of Lapu-Lapu and Mandaue cities to Level 1 from April 1 to 15, acting presidential spokesperson Martin Andanar said on Thursday, March 31, 2022.

Cebu City and Siquijor province, which are also in Central Visayas, will remain under Alert Level 1, while Cebu Province will remain under Alert Level 2 from April 1 to 15.

Also under Alert Level 1, the lowest quarantine status so far in the country, are the following:

* National Capital Region;

* Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR): Abra, Apayao, Kalinga, Baguio City and Ifugao (Lagawe, Lamut) and Mountain Province (Besao, Bontoc and Sagada);

* Region 1 (Ilocos): Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan and Dagupan City;

* Region 2 (Cagayan Valley): Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, City of Santiago, Quirino and Nueva Vizcaya (Bambang, Bayombong, Dupax del Norte, Quezon, Solano and Villaverde);

* Region 3 (Central Luzon): Aurora, Bataan, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Angeles City, Tarlac, Zambales and Olongapo City;

* Region 4-A (Calabarzon): Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Lucena City and Quezon (City of Tayabas, Lucban, Mauban, Pagbilao, Plaridel, Polillo, Quezon and Sampaloc);

* Region 4-B (Mimaropa): Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, Puerto Princesa City, Lubang Occidental Mindoro and Culion Palawan;

* Region 5 (Bicol): Albay, Catanduanes, Naga City, Camarines Norte (Daet, San Vicente), Camarines Sur (Bombon, Cabusao, Camaligan, Iriga City, Presentacion Parubcan and San Fernando), and Sorsogon (Barcelona, Bulusan, Casiguran, City of Sorsogon, Gubat, Juban, Magallanes and Prieto Diaz);

* Region 6 (Western Visayas): Aklan, Guimaras, Capiz, Bacolod City, Iloilo City, Antique (San Jose, Sebaste), Iloilo (Anilao, Balasan, Banate, Barotac Nuevo, Barotac Viejo, Bingawan, Concepcion, Dueñas, Guimbal, Janiuay, Lemery, Mina, Pototan, San Dioniso and Santa Barbara), and Negros Occidental (Enrique B. Magalona Saravia, La Carlota City, Pulupandan, Sagay City and San Enrique);

* Region 7 (Central Visayas): Bohol (Batuan, Corella, Dimiao, Jagna, Lila, Loay, Loboc, Sikatuna and Tagbilaran City), and Negros Oriental (Dumaguete City);

* Region 8 (Eastern Visayas): Biliran, Ormoc City, Tacloban City, Eastern Samar (Arteche, Balangkayan, Can-avid, City of Borongan, Jipapad, Maydolong, Salcedo, San Policarpo, Sulat and Taft), Leyte (Albuera, City of Baybay, Dulag, Matag-ob, Palo and Tunga), Northern Samar (Capul, Lapinig, Lavezares, San Antonio, San Jose and Victoria), Samar (Marabut and Pagsanghan), and Southern Leyte (Anahawan, City of Maasin, Hinundayan, Libagon, Limasawa, Macrohon, Padre Burgos and Pintuyan);

* Region 9 (Zamboanga Peninsula): Zamboanga City, Zamboanga Del Norte (Dapitan City, Dipolog City, New Piñan, Polanco and Rizal and Zamboanga Sibugay (Ipil Capital and Tungawan);

* Region 10 (Northern Mindanao): Camiguin, Bukidnon, Iligan City, Cagayan de Oro City, Lanao del Norte (Bacolod), Misamis Occidental (Clarin, Jimenez, Ozamiz City and Panaon) and Misamis Oriental (Alubijid, Binuangan, City of El Salvador, Initao, Laguindingan, Libertad, Lugait, Naawan, Sugbongcogon and Tagoloan).

* Region 11 (Davao Region): Davao City, Montevista Davao de Oro and Davao Oriental (Cateel and City of Mati);

* Region 12 (Soccsksargen): Cotabato (North Cotabato, City of Kidapawan and President Roxas), South Cotabato (Polomolok and Santo Niño) and Sultan Kudarat (City of Tacurong);

* Region 13 (Caraga): Surigao del Sur, Surigao City, Butuan City, Agusan del Norte (Carmen, Jabonga, Magallanes and Nasipit), Agusan del Sur (Bunawan, Loreto and Prosperidad), Dinagat Islands (Loreto) and Tagana-an Surigao del Norte.

Other areas in Bohol and Negros Oriental not specified as being under Alert Level 1 will be under Alert Level 2. All other places, including other component cities and municipalities not mentioned, will be under Alert Level 2.

Under Alert Level 2, some activities are prohibited and establishments allowed to operate can do so only at a maximum of 50 percent indoor venue capacity and 70 percent outdoor venue capacity.

But under Alert Level 1, all private offices and workplaces, including public and private construction sites, as well as public transportation would be allowed to operate at 100 percent capacity.
