Cebu FC adds three Turkish players to roster

DYNAMIC Herb Cebu FC adds youth and talent to the roster after acquiring the services of three Turkish youth players for the 2022 Copa Paulino Alcantara.

Super Lig club Hatayspor sent three players from its Under-19 squad on loan to Cebu FC as part of the two clubs’ partnership.

Striker Arda Cinkir, midfielder Mert Altinoz and defender Nazim Ozcan are the 19-year-old Turkish players that will be suiting up for Cebu FC.

Cebu FC also signed Hatayspor coaches to lead the squad this season.

Memet Kakil replaced Oliver Colina as head coach after one season in the Philippines Football League, while Levent Ozturk signed as assistant coach.

Cebu FC also signed striker Chima Uzoka, former FEU goalkeeper John Ryll Eldian and Don Bosco Boys Home product John Cyril Sinoy.

Cebu FC will make its debut in the 2022 Copa Paulino Alcantara on April 25 against Stallion Laguna FC at the Philippine Football Federation Training Center in Carmona, Cavite.

Cebu FC made its debut in the pro league last year. Cebu FC competed in the 2021 Copa Paulino Alcantara and finished fourth.
