SOME P68,000 worth of suspected shabu were confiscated from live-in partners during the anti-illegal drug operation conducted by the Police Drug Enforcement Group-Central Visayas (PDEG 7) past 2 a.m. on Monday, April 4, 2022 in Barangay Mabolo, Cebu City.
Police identified the suspects as Carlden Englatera, 30, a motorcycle-for-hire (habal-habal) driver and his live-in partner Celeste Basiga, 40, a hairdresser, both from Barangay Tabok, Mandaue City.
The PDEG 7 operatives headed by Captain Roy Rondina conducted the buy-bust against Englatera and Basiga after learning that the two and one of their inmates had been exchanging messages through the cellular phone about their illegal drug activity. (BBT, TPT)
