THE villages in the City of San Fernando and Apalit town were named as the Most Outstanding Barangay Lupon Tagapamayapa (justice committee)-Provincial Level by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG).
Barangay Malpitic in the City of San Fernando (Component City category) and Barangay Balucuc in Apalit town (1st and 3rd class Municipality category) were adjudged as this year's winners during the recently concluded Lupong Tagapamayapa Incentives Awards (LTIA).
The winning Lupons bested all the other nominees in the province after the LTIA Provincial Assessment Committee reviewed their performance for the year 2021 in terms of effectivity, efficiency, creativity and collaboration with stakeholders in the implementation of the Katarungang Pambarangay.
The barangay-awardees will be endorsed to the next level of assessment and vie with other Provincial Winners for the Regional LTIA assessment.
