ONE person was arrested while some P13,000 worth of illegal drug were seized in an anti-drug operation in Zamboanga City, the police reported Sunday, April 10, 2022.
Police Colonel Alexander Lorenzo, Zamboanga City Police Office (ZCPO) director, identified the arrested suspect as Jeffrey Taradjo, 39, who was arrested following a series of surveillance on his illegal activity.
Lorenzo said Taradji was arrested in a buy-bust operation around 12:14 a.m. Sunday, April 10, in Sta. Barbara village, this city.
He said seized from Taradji’s possession by the ZCPO’s Station 5 operatives were some P13,000 worth of suspected shabu packed in three heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets, and P200 marked money.
Lorenzo said charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against the suspect, who was detained. (SunStar Zamboanga)
