IN THE quest to deliver a win for presidential candidate Vice President Leni Robredo and runningmate Senator Kiko Pangilinan in the coming polls, volunteers from the City of San Fernando and different areas in Pampanga are set to launch a grand house-to-house campaign on April 23.

The event, which coincides with the birth date of Robredo, aims to convince still undecided voters, and convert those who are leaning toward the rivals of the Robredo-Pangilinan tandem.

According to engineer Arnel Sicat, member of the Robredo-Pangilinan People’s Council, some 10,000 volunteers from the city alone have committed to join the campaign, which will be a simultaneous nationwide activity.

“From 6:30 ng umaga, iinaasahan na 10,000 volunteers mula sa siyudad San Fernando ang magmomobilize for the house-to-house para mangumbinsi ng mga soft voters at iyong mga undecided pa sa kanila boto sa darating na eleksyon,” he said.

Sicat said the volunteers will be laying out the programs and projects implemented by Robredo before and during her political career, her platforms for governance, and credentials in every house that they will visit.

Meanwhile, mayoralty candidate Oscar Rodriguez, a vocal supporter of the Robredo-Pangilinan tandem, also pledged his support for the nationwide activity.

Online to ground work

Among the groups that pledged support for the activity are the Team Magsilbi Tamu, Solid Online Campaign Action (OCA) Force, Leni-Kikolasas, and Solid Leni Pilipinas-Pampanga Chapter.

Leni-Kikolasas Convenor Pritszelle Faustino said they are joining the activity to let fellow Fernandinos and Kapampangans know and understand the platforms of Robredo in a personal level.

Solid Online Campaign Action (OCA) Force head Edcel Torres, for her part, said that her group will convert their efforts online to in-person campaign.
