ANOTHER game changer in the automotive industry was launched by the LausAutoGroup, as it unveiled the all-new Haima 7x at SM City Clark on Wednesday, April 20, 2022.

Laus Group of Companies Chairman and CEO Lisset Laus-Velasco expressed excitement over the Haima 7x, launched for the first time in the Philippines outside of the China debut last year, and seen as a major boost to the auto industry's rebound and economic recovery slowed down by at least two years by the pandemic.

"Now that we're back on the road, what better way to get things going, than to be launching, together with our friends from Haima, the 7x, the successor of our Haima V70 which bagged the best MPV 2016 by the Car Awards Group Inc. We at the LausGroup are excited to bring this state of the art vehicle to the local market. Coincidentally, this is also the first time for Haima to launch the 7x outside of China. Since its launch in China last year, the 7x tops the MPV segment in Hainan," Laus-Velasco said.

"I personally had the chance to test drive this vehicle and I've got to say, for a 7-seater MPV, it packs a punch. It has a smooth drive with the added bonus of Haima's safety features that truly promises potential. The Haima 7x is sleek Italian design, topped with powerful features and unparalled comfort is perfect for all kinds of families and groups that are looking for more possibilities and surprises in a vehicle that suits their lifestyle," she said.

Laus-Velasco added that because it is an MPV, it can be very friendly for individuals who may have difficulty alighting vehicles because the ground clearance of Haima 7x is just right. The rear captain's seats provide great comfort for second and third row occupants, perfect for family use or for friends with friends.

Bringing unparalleled comfort, the 7-seater MPV has two individual layout seating on its first and second row and a three-seat comfort capacity on its third row. It also has a front and rear independent suspension and five-star safety features including electronic stability program, anti-lock braking system, electronic brakeforce distribution, brake assist system, and traction control among others.

The outstanding and "wow" features did not pass by loyal Haima automobile enthusiasts who got to test drive the 7x.

Donna Camaya from Pilar Village in San Fernando, simply exclaimed "wow! wow! Ang ganda. Ang lambot. Napakasarap i-drive. Mukha ngang luxury car talaga. Head turner talaga."

Randall Erwin Stuart, who owns a couple of Haima vehicles, said the 7x is half sleek and half sporty. "The interior is all leather and beautiful. It is very smooth and very comfortable for driving. I can't feel any bumps. It's just excellent!"

"I like it. I like the drive. I like the steering wheel. It feels nice. I like how it handles. Nice on the highway, good driving!" said Ronald John McKennon, who also owns several Haima vehicles.

The Haima 7X is a multi-purpose vehicle with a 1.5 liter turbo engine, six-speed automatic transmission with manual select priced at P1,199,000. (JTD)
