SIX people were killed in a vehicular accident in Mountain Province on Thursday, April 21, 2022.
Police identified the victims as Rhema Sumingwa, 18; Merley Docyogen, 17; Lendel Keith Alfonso, 19; Hazel Solang, 19; Dalog Kawi Mangallay, 19; and Lip-aw Aligan, 21.
Based on initial investigation, the vehicle, a Tamaraw FX, carrying eight individuals, fell into a 100-meter deep ravine in Sitio Bunga, Catengan, Besao, Mountain Province, around 4:30 a.m. to 5 a.m. Thursday.
The incident, however, was only reported around 4 p.m. Thursday, April 21, after a resident discovered it.
The survivors were identified as Lander Maticyeng, 17, and Novelyn Sagantiyoc, 18.
They were brought to Besao District Hospital for treatment.
The fatalities have already been turned over to their families. (SunStar Philippines)
