TWO of the most wanted persons in two of the 16 towns in Zamboanga Sibugay province were arrested in separate law enforcement operations, the police reported Friday, April 22.
Police Colonel Albert Larubis, Zamboanga Sibugay police director, identified them as Darwin Policios Enudio, 27, the top 10 wanted person in Kabasalan town; and Jufel Silvestre Dela Cruz, 41, the number 7 wanted person in Buug municipality.
Larubis said that Enudio was arrested in a law enforcement operation by way of service of warrant of arrest around 2:12 a.m. Friday, April 22, on Brixton Street in 175 village, Caloocan City.
Enudio was arrested by joint policemen of Kabasalan and Caloocan City.
The suspect has standing warrant of arrest for the crime of rape with no recommended bail issued on November 29, 2018 by the court of Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay, Larubis said.
Enudio was place under the temporary custody of the Caloocan Police Station for his eventual transport to Kabasalan town.
Larubis said that Dela Cruz was arrested also in a law enforcement operation around 4:30 a.m. Friday, April 22, in Purok 1 in Pling village, Buug, Zamboanga Sibugay.
He said Dela Cruz has pending warrant of arrest for the crime of homicide with P40,000 recommended bail issued on April 25, 2014 by the court of Imelda, Zamboanga Sibugay.
He said the arrested wanted person was placed under the custody of the Buug Municipal Police Station for proper disposition. (SunStar Zamboanga)
