What the presidentiables said: Comelec Presidential Debates 2022

TO BETTER understand the candidates vying for the country's highest post, the Commission on Elections (Comelec) organized the "PiliPinas Debates 2022: The Turning Point" ahead of the May 9 elections.

The first and second presidential debates were held March 19 and April 3 at the Sofitel Harbor Garden Tent in Pasay City.

Former senator Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos was the only presidentiable who did not show up in both debates.

The last of the three debates is scheduled on Saturday, April 30.

Here's what the candidates had to say on pressing issues the country is facing. For some questions, only some presidentiables were asked to give an answer.
