THE City Government of San Fernando and its Arts, Culture, and Tourism Council are calling anew to the public to support heritage preservation and environmental protection as they staged an art exhibit and “eco-friendly” fair at Vista Mall.

Renowned Fernandino visual artist Jude Jaisonn Pangilinan was featured in the “Ing Labuad kung Tibuan” exhibit, where several works including canvasses, mixed media, photographs, historical documents are displayed.

Several products like bags of different types, table mats and runners, sandals—all made from recycled materials—were also up for grabs in an “eco-friendly” fair hosted by the Fernandina Water Lily Handicrafts Association.

Attending the ribbon-cutting ceremonies for the exhibit and fair were members of the council, Pyestang Fernandino Executive Committee Members, and some department heads. (PR)
