SIXTEEN out of the total 22 cities and municipalities in Pampanga were free from Covid-19 infections, data from the provincial government’s latest report showed.
As of Wednesday, April 20, there were only six active Covid-19 cases in the province, with two each coming from Mabalacat City and Bacolor town, while municipalities of Guagua and Lubao have one each.
The City of San Fernando and fifteen towns, namely, Magalang, Floridablanca, Porac, Sasmuan, Sta. Rita, Arayat, Mexico, Sta. Ana, Apalit, Candaba, Macabebe, Masantol, San Simon, Sto. Tomas and San Luis were Covid-19-free, as of Sunday, April 24.
The highly urbanized City of Angeles, which is not included in the official list, has 109 active Covid-19 cases, the data from the provincial government also showed.
