THE number of visitors at the Provincial Government-run Mambukal Resort and Wildlife Sanctuary in Barangay Minoyan, Murcia has been increasing, already reaching nearly 300 on Sunday, April 24.

Provincial Administrator Rayfrando Diaz II said Tuesday, April 26, that since the facility reopened last April 20, at least 100 visitors are coming every day.

Diaz said old rates are still adopted, particularly for the entrance and facilities of the resort.

"Visitors can enjoy the fresh air and the sounds of birds chirping and other wildlife at Mambukal," he said, adding that the Provincial Government designated a parking area so visitors will have to walk around to enjoy the resort.

Starting May 1, 2022, overnight stay will already be allowed at the Mambukal.

From April 20 to April 30, only day tours and advanced reservations or bookings are being accepted at the resort.

Negrenses can really enjoy Mambukal during this summer season, the official added.
