Evangelista also lauded the creativity and skillfulness of Kapampangan workers who were behind beautiful and colorful handbags.

“It was nice to see all of them and it’s really really nice to know na sila pala ang tunay na fashionistas with all the bags they are making every day,” she said.

The Kapuso actress bared Escudero’s plans that would benefit Filipino workers, assistance to micro, small and medium entrepreneurs to create additional job opportunities.

“He also plans to make a way to give subsidies to our workers to help them pay for their bills. It’s being done in other countries and Chiz wants it to also be done for the Filipinos,” she said.

Despite Escudero placing on the top slot in surveys among the senatorial bets, Evangelista said she goes around the Philippines to share with everyone the achievements and plans of her husband for the country.

"He actually does not want me to campaign but I still insist because it's really different to tell others who he really is," Evangelista said.
