THE daughter of presidential candidate Vice President Leni Robredo led on Tuesday, April 26, the house-to-house activity in Porac town as part of “Tao Sa Tao Para Kay Robredo” campaign.
Dr. Tricia Robredo, the second of the three daughters of Robredo, met with residents of Barangay Pio, Porac and public market vendors to present the achievements, credentials and platforms for governance of her mother.
“Mababait po ang mga tao. Kapag kinamayan mo at nag-good morning ka, ganun din po sila sa akin. At kahit po kita sa kanilang mga mask o baller na iba iyong maaring susuportahan nila pero bukas pa rin po silang makinig at kilalanin kung sino si Leni Robredo,” she said.
After her Porac sortie, Tricia met with Kapampangan youth volunteers and supporters of Robredo at the Robredo-Pangilinan People’s Council Volunteer Center in the City of San Fernando.
Tricia expressed gratitude to volunteers and supporters who tirelessly exert effort to campaign for Robredo, her runningmate Senator Kiko Pangilinan and their senatorial slate.
“Nagpapasalamat po talaga ako sa support ng ating mga kasama dito sa Pampanga, na despite the situation ay lumalabas talaga sila para ipakita ang suporta at pagmamahal nila kay Leni Robredo. Nagpapasalamat po ako lalo na sa energy ng mga youth. I think dahil sila rin po iyong may lakas na maglibot at may creativity sa paggawa ng mga placards at mga pakulo kaya sila rin po ang puso ng aming kampanya ngayon,” she said.
She also asked for Kapampangan’s continued support as the campaign period has come to its last 10 days.
“Less than two weeks nalang, sana tuloy pa po tayo sa paglakad at pagkampanya at pagpapakilala kay Leni Robredo. Matrabaho pero sulit naman po,” she said.
10,000 votes for Leni
Meanwhile, Youth For Leni-Kiko Pampanga Convenor Paolo Cruz pledged to deliver some 10,000 votes from Kapampangan youth for Robredo on election day.
“So far, across Pampanga, meron po kaming almost 1,500 volunteers na nagha-house-to-house every day. Maliban doon, iyong mga registered voters sa aming youth groups, makakadeliver po kami ng at least 10,000 votes para kay Ma’am Leni,” he said.
Cruz added that the personal visit of Tricia in Pampanga is a big boost to their motivation to campaign for Robredo until May 7.
“Napakalaking bagay ng pagbisita ni Dra. Tricia dahil mas lalong lumalakas iyong determinasyon namin at mas nahihikayat na maglaan pa ng extrang oras para ilakad si Ma’am Leni,” he said.
