Religious group endorses Garbo, Team MCG

A FEDERATION of Born-Again Christian organizations has endorsed the reelection bid and candidacy of Mayor Crisostomo Garbo and his runningmates under the MCG team.

Leaders and members of the Association of United Christian Churches in Angeles and Mabalacat (Auccam), the Angeles City Pastors Association (Acpa), and Central Luzon Pastors Association for Tribal Missions (CLPATM) aired their support to the MCG in the upcoming elections.

The group endorsed the Garbo's group during a fellowship at AIM Church in Barangay Mabiga, Mabalacat City.

The Auccam and other independent born-again Christian churches in Mabalacat City said as a leader, Garbo possesses the 4Cs -- character, competence, courage, and compassion.

Garbo is described as God-fearing man and his services to the people is God-centered.

"Mayor Garbo has the most important “C” of all, which is Christ, openly confessing that he as a person was changed by the Love and Grace of God," the Auccam said.

The group's manifesto of support also said they are for po-progress and desire to be part of the progress that God is doing in the component city with the leadership of Garbo.

In terms of transparency, the church federation leaders said they believe Garbo is better than his predecessor.

They also signified their support to Vice Mayor Aquino because of his character, competence, courage, compassion and consciousness of Christ.

According to the Auccam, Aquino is the kindest public servant and the most competent and fit for the job of a vice mayor amongst the vice mayorables.

Aquino was also lauded for humility and compassion to Mabalaquenos, especially the marginalized sector, during the peak of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The Auccam also recognized the unwavering efforts of the city officials, under Garbo's leadership, in uplifting the way of life of Mabalaqueños through various programs and services.
