8 Cebu graduates top teachers examination

EIGHT elementary education graduates from Cebu schools made it to the top 10 of the March 2022 Licensure Examination for Teachers, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) said Friday, April 29, 2022.

Maricris Quingco Colipano of the Cebu Technological University (CTU)-Carmen took the top spot with a rating of 92.4 percent.

Lucille Taro Dejos of the Talisay City College and Nikie Loren Decena Villa of CTU-Main placed third with a rating of 91.4 percent.

Jomar Concepcion Manada of the University of Cebu, Glenmer Roldan Redido of CTU-Moalboal, Khuenalyn Libradilla Ricardo of CTU-Moalboal, Dominique Marie Pauline Navales Policios of the University of San Carlos and Kim Verlie Balongcas Pianiar of CTU-Main garnered the fifth, sixth, seventh, ninth and 10th places.

Also in the top 10 are Ermelyn Gang-on Florida of Davao Central College (second); Noel Masucol Ramos Jr. of Mati Doctors College (third); Nica Mae Lacsamana De Castro of Universiy of the Philippines-Diliman (fourth); Monique Recorba Dela Corta of Holy Cross of Davao College (sixth); Elaiza Agbon Taga-an of University of Southeastern Philippines-Davao City (sixth); Lodiza Lamano Magdilag of University of Mindanao-Tagum (eight); Angelica Estrella Besa of Cataingan Municipal College (ninth); Emylyn Ali Armodia of University of Mindanao-Davao City (10th); and Desireh Jyne Pasigado Baclid of Southern Philippines Methodist College (10th).

The PRC said 10,039 elementary teachers out of 20,567 examinees and 7,809 secondary teachers out of 18,717 examinees passed the licensure examination.
