CAGAYAN de Oro's active coronavirus disease (Covid-19) cases were already below five as of April 29, 2022, after the City Health Office logged four active cases.

Of the four active infections in the city, three were admitted to the Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC) and other hospitals in the city and one was an outpatient.

According to City Health Office medical officer Dr. Teodoro Yu Jr., Cagayan de Oro has recorded zero new Covid-19 cases and zero deaths.

The cumulative number of infections in the city remains at 25,838.

The city also registered five new coronavirus-positive persons who were now tagged as "recovered." This brought the total number of recoveries in Cagayan de Oro to 24,894.

The number of Covid-19 deaths in the city remained at 940.
