I condemn in the strongest possible terms the malicious report of SunStar Daily linking me to a certain drug personality.
I have never spoken to, nor was I interviewed by a certain John Kevin Pilapil of SunStar who claims that I denied having received political contributions from a convicted drug lord serving time in Muntinlupa.
Pilapil’s report is pure hogwash and full of lies.
While writing about my supposed “denial,” Pilapil’s malicious report is obviously designed to malign me, put my character in question and ruin my campaign.
I have instructed my lawyers to immediately file a cyberlibel case against him, his publication and all those who share his malicious article in their social media accounts.
I also encourage those included by Pilapil in the supposed list of my so-called campaign donors to come forward and file charges against him for false and malicious reporting.
With only a few days before the May 9 elections, my political adversaries and their media lackeys must be so desperate that they’re willing to do anything, even resort to black propaganda and concoct outright lies, just to derail my campaign. They will not succeed.
Lies are the refuge of cowards and scoundrels.
