A WATER SPOUT in the coastal waters near the Talisay City Fish Port in the South Road Properties was detected around 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 3, 2022.
Al Quiblat, the weather bureau chief of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) Visayas told SunStar Cebu that their radar in Mactan Station has spotted a "convective cloud" that became the source of the water spout.
Quiblat said that the location of the water spout is 7.5 kilometers east southeast of Talisay City.
The weather phenomenon did not reach land and immediately dissipated after 10 minutes, said Quiblat. (IRT)
