ONLY two barangays have active cases in Cagayan de Oro, the City Health Office (CHO) reported on Tuesday, May 3, 2022.
Based on the data presented by the CHO, as of May 2, 2022, Barangay Patag had three active cases and Barangay Bulua only has one active case.
The cumulative number of active cases in Cagayan de Oro has dropped to four, of which two were admitted to the Northern Mindanao Medical Center and other hospitals in the city and two were outpatients.
Majority or 87 percent of Covid-19 mortalities recorded in Cagayan de Oro City were unvaccinated individuals.
As of May 3, the city had a total of 940 Covid-19 deaths, of which 822 were unvaccinated individuals while 118 were vaccinated individuals.
