Women's group: Boycott fake party-lists

THE Amihan National Federation of Peasant Women urged the electorate to boycott fake party-lists that are backed by political dynasties, implicated with criminal charges or pork barrel scams, connected to big businesses, and with dubious advocacies.

The group asked for support for Anakpawis Party-list that represented marginalized poor sectors in the country.

The peasant women group said Anakpawis Party-list is a genuine representation of farmers, workers, urban poor, drivers, women, overseas Filipino workers and others.

The party-list has been active in their pro-poor legislation such as free land distribution for farmers, P750 national minimum wage for workers, Rice Industry Dev't Act for national food security, "ayuda" and production subsidy, and others.
