TWO residents in Mabalacat City who tested positive of Covid-19 during the May 9, 2022 national and local elections have recovered from the disease.
The local government logged two cases on May 10, 2022.
The patients are from Barangay Dau.
The city government's update, however, clarified that "these data do not represent final numbers and are subject to change after review and inclusion of other reports of cases."
No new active cases and death of Covid-19 were recorded by the local government as of press time.
Both Mayor Cris Garbo and Vice Mayor Geld Aquino reminded their constituents to be vigilant and continue observing health protocols to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
The Department of Health (DOH) reported 175 new cases coronavirus nationwide on Saturday, May 14, 2022.
Metro Manila (903 new cases), Calabarzon with 277, and Central Luzon with 236 are the regions with the most number of new cases over the past few weeks.
