POLICE arrested radio broadcaster and columnist Ramon Tulfo Jr. on Wednesday, May 18, 2022, over cybercrime charges.
In a report, the Manila Police District said Tulfo was arrested at 10:05 a.m. inside the quadrangle of the Manila City Hall in Ermita, Manila.
Tulfo’s arrest warrant was issued by Manila Regional Trial Court Branch 24 Judge Maria Victoria Soriano-Villadolid.
In 2018, Tulfo and several top editors of the Philippine Daily Inquirer were detained over a libel complaint filed by the Iglesia Ni Cristo.
In March 2020, he turned himself in to the police also over libel charges.
Tulfo posted bail in both of the charges. (SunStar Philippines)
