AROUND P2.5-million worth of suspected illegal drugs were seized during two separate operations launched in Pampanga on Monday, May 16, 2022.
In Mabalacat City, the anti-illegal drug operation launched in Barangay Mawaque Maragul resulted in the arrest of a 30-year-old suspect and confiscation of alleged methamphetamine hydrochloride (shabu) weighing 305 grams with estimated value of P2,074,000, drug paraphernalia, and personal belongings.
Meanwhile, another drug suspect was arrested in Barangay Dila-Dila in Sta. Rita town wherein three sachets containing suspected shabu weighing 55 grams with estimated street value of P374,000 and other personal belongings were confiscated.
The suspects will face charges for violations of Sections 5 and 11 of the Article II of Republic Act 9165.
