FOUR were injured in a multiple-vehicle collision involving two tricycles and the L300 service van of the Bacolod City Social Services Development along the road of Hacienda Abada at Barangay Granada in Bacolod City at about 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 17.
Injured were Freddie Nitunay, 53, and his wife, Celia, 54, of Purok Abada
Escay; Glen Barios and his 17-year-old companion, both of Purok Arao, all in the city's Barangay Vista Alegre.
Investigation conducted by Staff Sergeant Winston Sun showed that Barios was driving his tricycle with the minor as his passenger.
They were heading south of the road when he lost control of the vehicle.
As a result, Barios' tricycle swerved to the opposite lane and collided with
the tricycle of the Nitunay's and the van driven by Ramil Angelo Pejario, 46, of Cityville Subdivision in Barangay Estefania, Sun said.
He said that those injured were rushed to the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital in the city.
Sun also said that the victims sustained minor injuries adding that Barios failed to present a driver's license.
