Bacolod Bike Show 2022 attracts enthusiasts

BIKE enthusiasts enjoyed watching the various kinds of bikes showcased during the Bacolod Bike Show 2022 recently at the Ayala Malls Capitol Central Bacolod City.

Created and organized by Ryan Saez of the Headrush, the participants were composed of ALS BIKES, Luiz Lizares, MTB Negros, Spoontrail, Cycloapaedia, Western Japanese Bikes, Warmup Bikes, Dobol O bikes, Custom Cruiser BCD, Dr. Michael Salvador, Bacolod Fixed Gear, and Wheelson Bikes.

Among the bikes displayed at the showcase was an MTB cross country hardtail, full suspension, trail, enduro, downhill, fat bike, and e-bike; vintage, classic, lady-owned, kids bike, sports and old school BMX; restored bikes, low rider, folding bikes, trikes, e-bikes, modern, among others.

The major awardees during the event were Warmup Bikes as the Best of Show Overall; Best of Show Modern - Luis Lizares; Western Japanese Bikes; Road bike - Warmup Bikes; BMX - Double O Bikes; Best of Show Japanese: Western Japanese Bikes; Fixie - Gino Villanueva; 26" MTB - Supreme Bike Republic Clyde Sia; 27.5" MTB - Luis Lizares and 29" MTB - MTB Negros Lily Sy. Michael Morcilla of Spoontrail Cafe's S Works Stumpjumper won as champion in best in sports trailing. JP Equipaje of the Equipaje surveyors and contractors' MTB won as Best in Sport function - Enduro.

One can see the most expensive bikes, best-customized bikes, best in themed bikes, best maintained, best restored, and modern bikes.

The show helped ignite the bikers' creative juices and improve what they have.

They enjoy riding those bikes when they go to places for trails, road biking, join biking competitions, or ride their bikes for exercise and fun, Saez said, as he thanked everyone who helped make the event possible.
