ONLY four barangays have active cases in Cagayan de Oro, the City Health Office reported on Saturday, May 21, 2022.
Based on the data presented by the City Health Office, as of May 20, 2022, Barangay Lumbia and Carmen had three active cases each, while Barangay Puerto and Barangay 2 had one case each.
The cumulative number of active cases in Cagayan de Oro has dropped to eight, of which one was admitted to the Northern Mindanao Medical Center and seven were outpatients.
Majority or 87 percent of Covid-19 mortalities recorded in Cagayan de Oro City were unvaccinated individuals.
As of May 20, the city had a total of 941 Covid-19 deaths, of which 823 were unvaccinated individuals while 118 were vaccinated individuals.
