THE Police Regional Office-Bangsamoro Autonomous Region (PRO-BAR) has initiated changes in the top positions in two of its provincial police offices.
Police Colonel Jibin Bongcayao has been relieved as the Maguindanao Police Provincial Office (MPPO) and reassigned as the new Lanao del Sur Police Provincial Office (LDSPPO) director, replacing Police Colonel Christopher Panapan.
In turn, Panapan has been reassigned as the new MPPO director, a position vacated by Bongcayao.
Police Brigadier General Pablo Loabra, PRO-BAR deputy director for administration, administered the turnover of office ceremony Friday, May 20, held at Maringal lounge of Camp General Salipada Pendatun in Parang, Maguindanao.
Both Bongcayao and Panapan received Medalya ng Kasanayan (PNP Efficiency Medal) for the meritorious and invaluable services rendered to PRO-BAR as provincial directors and for their competence, effort, and commitment to the Police Service.
They were also awarded Medalya ng Kagalingan (PNP Medal of Merit) for their meritorious heroic act in leading the men and women of their respective provincial offices in securing the safe conduct of May 9, 2022 national and local elections in their respective areas.
Labra conveyed his appreciation to Bongcayao and Panapan for their meritorious achievement and commendable services as provincial directors in their former provincial offices. (SunStar Zamboanga)
