Event to support rising ‘creator economy’ slated in Cebu

SOCIAL media content platform DashoContent has slated the DashCon 2022, a geek-out in-person event in Cebu on May 30, in support of the growing creator economy.

The event will gather entrepreneurs, business professionals, and digital marketers at the Golden Prince Hotel and Suites.

“Through DashCon 2022, we hope to help attendees learn about emerging strategies, the latest innovative technologies, and best practices to move their business to the next level. They can also network with thought leaders, reunite with their peers, and build their professional network,” said Fleire Castro, DashCon 2022 organizer and founder of Cebu-based startup ContentDash.

The conference intends to help participants gain insight into the latest digital tools, enhance brand awareness and marketing efforts, improve customer loyalty and engagement, increase sales, and build their network.

The sessions will be led by some of the most audacious and thought-provoking speakers in the Philippine digital marketing, and media and advertising industry.

They include Janette Toral (Livestreaming for Digital Marketing), Fleire Castro (Hyperlocal Social Media Content for Brand Activation), Jan Milton Ganapin (Creatorship and Community), and Le-An Lai Lacaba (Freelancer Best Practices, Content Creation, Influencer Marketing).

The panelist lineup also includes speakers who will speak about livestreaming, paid advertising and influencer marketing, brand storytelling, and content creation for MSMEs, among others.

Increased digitalization and internet popularity during the pandemic has seen the rise of the creator and gig economy. Many talented tech-savvy Filipinos have turned to producing social media content as a side hustle or a better alternative to an 8-5 job. (with PR)
