TWO graduates of the University of San Carlos (USC) in Cebu City have topped the May 2022 Chemical Engineering Licensure Examination, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced on Tuesday, May 24, 2022.
Richmond Pepito and Reinell Guevarra landed in first and 10th place in the exams, respectively.
Pepito got an overall rating of 86.90 percent while Guevarra got 84.20 percent.
Aside from their topnotchers, the USC also ranked first, along with the University of the Philippines-Diliman campus, with the most number of examinees that have at least an 80 percent passing percentage.
This year’s Chemical Engineer Licensure Exams were held in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo and Legazpi from May 17 to 19, 2022.
Out of 1,032 examinees, only 585 passed the exams, the PRC said.
